The Johnson MS Bike Tour is a two-day, 190km bike ride through the Alberta prairies from Leduc to Camrose. In 2012, the event raised over $1.9 million to raise money for multiple sclerosis.
Join 1,900 cyclists and 500 volunteers in the largest MS Bike Tour in the country! Your support of MS Society is so important in our fight to end MS!

- Mark your calendars for Thursday, May 30th at 6:00 pm at the MS Society Office (#150, 9405-50 Street; click on map below)
- In the evening, parking is available anywhere around the building
- The facility is wheelchair accessible (access is on the North entrance. Please refer to facility map below.)
- You will receive your volunteer T-shirt, learn about the Edmonton Enerflex MS Walk, have a group photo (while wearing your volunteer T-shirt), and learn about the specifics of your volunteer role
- RSVP to Volunteer Resources at 780-463-1190 or abvolunteers@mssociety.ca by Friday, April 29.
- If you are unable to attend please let volunteer resources know as soon as possible

Volunteer Check-In
- Volunteers that are part of the following Volunteer teams need to meet at the designated volunteer check-in area:
- Start Line Volunteer Team – Saturday
- Camrose Volunteer Team – Saturday (includes CRE Site Venue Team and Dinner/Dance Volunteer Team)
- Finish Line Volunteer Team – Sunday
- Volunteers who are part of the Checkpoint and Lunch Volunteer Teams will be checked in at their respective sites.
Volunteer Forms
- Parent Consent Form: If you are under 18, a parent consent form needs to be filled out prior to volunteering.
- Volunteer Application: We ask that you fill out an application form to assist us with scheduling and ensuring we have your correct information for communication and administrative purposes.
- Event Volunteer Code of Conduct Brochure: As representatives of the MS Society, Johnson MS Bike Tour volunteers need to adhere to this code of conduct.
Benefits

- All volunteers will be part of an event that benefits the lives of many
- All volunteers are welcome to attend the BBQ Lunch

Parking
- There is volunteer parking available at all locations along the bike route. (Volunteers are to ensure that they park in an area that does not interfere with the bike route and/or safety of the cyclists)
- Volunteers are encouraged to ensure they park in locations that are designated for the Johnson MS Bike Tour only.
General Volunteer Information
- Alberta weather is unpredictable – just like MS. The Bike Tour takes place rain or shine. Dress in layers and be prepared for all weather conditions, especially if your volunteer position is outside.
