Take Action now as we work toward catastrophic drug coverage in New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island.
New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island are the only two provinces in Canada without a catastrophic drug coverage program in place forcing the majority of residents to rely on private health insurance to cover the costs associated with their MS treatments. In addition, more than one-third of New Brunswickers and one-quarter of Islanders do not have private health insurance and must find a way to pay for treatment themselves.
The MS Society of Canada urges all governments to move quickly to create and provide Canadians with uniform access to necessary prescription drugs and related therapies, starting with the Governments of New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island.
