Education

Watch our latest education session, Mobility and MS. Mobility and MS will provide you with new information on MS medical treatments that will help you manage your mobility related symptoms and offer ideas on how to manage your symptoms by focusing on exercise and your overall wellness. The session is
presented by the MS Society of Canada, Atlantic Division.

Education is very much a part of all aspects of MS Society related activities. Through MS Society educational programs, people with MS and their families have a better understanding of MS. Programs are also offered to health care professionals.

Generally, education programs focus on the following areas:

  • Programs to increase knowledge about coping with multiple sclerosis for people with MS and their families.
  • Programs to facilitate learning and disseminate educational materials for physicians, nurses, and other professionals to enhance their professional competence in caring for people with MS and their families.
  • Programs to educate and train chapter volunteers in relation to activities and responsibilities of Client Services.

For more information about Education Sessions in Atlantic Canada, please call the Division Office at 1-800-268-7582, or keep checking our website for updates.
