Client Services Library

Atlantic Division library resources include books and videos on a wide range of MS related topics. All books and videos are available for loan to anyone regardless of membership with the MS Society.

Please be aware that this information does not necessarily represent the opinion of the MS Society of Canada, nor carry the endorsement of support of the MS Society of Canada. For medical advice and opinion, always consult a physician.

Borrowing Policy:

  • The resources of the Atlantic Division library are available for loan to anyone regardless of membership in the organization.
  • Resources are loaned for three weeks and limited to two items at one time.
  • Individuals who do not return resources are invoiced for the replacement value of items borrowed.
  • For persons requesting book resources, the MS Society of Canada (Atlantic Division) will forward the item with a postage paid return envelop at no charge. For videos, CDs and DVDs, it is the financial responsibility of the borrower to return the resource.

Publications  

The MS Society produces a number of publications that address specific topics about multiple sclerosis. These publications cover subjects such as basic facts about MS, specific symptoms, nutrition, and family issues to name just a few. The Society also produces children's resources for those who have a parent or loved one living with MS.

These publications can help individuals learn more about this disease and suggest strategies in coping with its effects. A listing of publications can be found here.
