To Canada’s MS community and all MS Society supporters
Yves Savoie I want to say how proud and honoured I am to have been chosen to serve as
President and Chief Executive Officer of the MS Society of Canada and President,
Ontario Division. I am acutely aware of the privilege it represents to build
on Alistair Fraser’s important legacy and to be part of the team that
has made the MS Society one of this country’s most vibrant and effective
health charities.
I know that, since our founding in 1948, we have reached many important goals
on behalf of people living with MS. These great achievements have come about
because of the unwavering commitment and enthusiastic participation of each
member of our unified community.
It’s now my job to use that strong foundation to lead our team to greater
heights, to consolidate our efforts and target our resources to make every
day better for people living with MS, and to work toward the day we finally
end MS.
I look forward to meeting as many members of our thriving community as possible
in the weeks and months to come. Whether you’re an MS Society employee,
volunteer, donor, member, caregiver, event participant, or part of an MS medical
team or research group, we share the same goal to support people living with
MS in ways that matter most. I’m proud to work alongside such a passionate
team and excited to reach our important goals together.
