Government programs that can help

Across Canada, federal and provincial programs can help with many aspects of life with MS. Please visit Government programs that can help under Multiple Sclerosis, Tips for Living with MS.

A nationwide survey: Listening to the voices of people affected by MS

In 2004, for the first time, the MS Society of Canada undertook a nationwide survey to determine what programs and services are most valued by the people the Society serves.

We were thrilled by the extraordinary response-rate received from coast to coast. We would like to sincerely thank the over 10,000 persons who took the time to fill out the questionnaire.

The results of the survey will help us better understand how we can provide the best possible assistance that enhances the quality of life for people affected by MS. “We need to hear what people most value about our services. The voices of people affected by MS are our most important guide to planning programs and services that meet their needs,” said Alistair Fraser, who served as the MS Society’s president and chief executive for 25 years.
