Celebration of Champions
Top fundraising participants from across Ontario were celebrated at this year's annual 'Celebration of Champions' dinner in Toronto. The 91 participants who raised more than $5,000 at a pledge event, and the team captains of 11 teams who raised more than $25,000 enjoyed an evening of networking among peers and great presentations by MS Society staff including one on research given by Karen Lee, Vice-President Research and one on Government relations given by Kim Steele, Manager, President's Office and Strategic Initiatives. Of these, 24 individuals raised more than $10,000 and received a medal and two teams surpassed the $50,000 mark and were awarded with a trophy. We thank these outstanding individuals for their dedication, inspiration and hard work.
