Program Options and Dates

For schools in Manitoba that are interested in participating in the MS Read-A-Thon, we offer a “Program-In-A-Box” structure. This means that a member of your staff will be presenting the program to your students using tools provided by our team. We will send you all of the necessary program materials, including a Guide to the Kick-Off Assembly, a presentation script and accompanying PowerPoint presentation, and a promotional video to encourage participation.

Once the program is complete and the money collected, simply mail the student pledge envelopes and funds back to the Ontario Division office using the postage-paid envelope we provide. The MS Read-A-Thon staff will count the money and issue all of the tax receipts. Your school will receive a summary of their participation statistics, as well as the incentives or awards that they achieved for completing the program.

“I Love to Read Month” in February is a great time to participate in the MS Read-A-Thon, but there are several session start dates available throughout the year. Speak to an MS Read-A-Thon representative today to learn more about the program, and how you can help end MS!
