I've signed up, what now?

So you've signed up to do the MS Read-A-Thon, thank you! Now it's time to get reading and start collecting sponsors. Here's all you need to know about participating in the MS Read-A-Thon.

  • Put your name, school and teacher's name on your MS Read-A-Thon envelope. This is really important for the MS Read-A-Thon team because it will make sure that we know who to thank!

  • Tell your family and friends that you want to take part in the MS Read-A-Thon. Ask them to sponsor you for a set amount or an amount of money for each minute that you read.

  • Record your sponsors' names and addresses on your MS Read-A-Thon envelope.

  • Fill in the hourglass to track your progress

  • At the end of the reading period, return to your sponsors and collect the money for the minutes that you read. Don't forget to thank them for helping you raise money for the MS Society of Canada!

  • Once all of your money is collected, put it inside the MS Read-A-Thon envelope, seal it and hand it in to your teacher.
