The MS Society is looking for Carnation Campaign Coordinators in Moosomin, Tisdale, Weyburn, and the Battlefords/North Battleford.

January 12, 2012: Government of Saskatchewan Now
Accepting Applications for Albany CCSVI Clinical Trial
The Government of Saskatchewan is now accepting applications for some Saskatchewan MS patients to participate in a Liberation Therapy clinical trial in Albany, New York. The clinical trial will explore the effectiveness of angioplasty in relieving MS symptoms. It is expected that 86 volunteers who meet the research study's eligibility criteria will be randomly selected for enrollment in the two-year clinical trial.
Applications will be accepted until February 24th, 2012.

MS Society collaborates with CIHR in call for CCSVI clinical trial research proposals
On November 25th, 2011 the Government of Canada and the CIHR announced that they, in collaboration with the MS Society, will be accepting research proposals for the Phase I/II clinical trial on CCSVI. The request for research proposals will be available on the CIHR’s website on November 30.

| About Saskatchewan Division |
The
Saskatchewan Division of the MS Society has been supporting research into multiple sclerosis and providing much-needed
services and programs to people with MS and their families
since 1981.
The
Saskatchewan Division consists of four chapters and two Division
offices. The Division offices are located in Saskatoon and Regina. Chapters are located in Battleford, Melfort, Regina,
and Saskatoon. Each
chapter provides specific services and programs in and around
its community for people affected by multiple sclerosis.
