Toronto Chapter

Equipment Donations

One of the ways the Toronto Chapter improves the quality of life for our members is through our equipment recycling program. We accept, on a case-by-case basis, donations of mobility and bath safety equipment.

While we consider each piece of mobility or bath safety equipment that is offered to us, we look for pieces that are

  • Less than two years old
  • Currently needed in our inventory
  • In excellent condition

There may be occasions when good quality
equipm
ent cannot be accepted due to an excess level already in stock. When you contact us about your equipment, please have some basic details ready such as age, make and model.

You can contact Sanjay Moonsammy, Manager, Funding Programs at (416) 967-3033 or sanjay.moonsammy@mssociety.ca.

Tax receipts may be issued for some equipment at a fair market value (determined by a valid third party vendor) and may take up to eight weeks to pr
ocess. The Toronto Chapter will arrange for the pick-up of the donated equipment. Please note, the chapter pays a fee for the pick up of equipment, which will be factored into the chapter's decision to accept the equipment.

We do not accept: Furniture, clothing, craftmatic or regular beds.
