Women Against MS Gala presented by K+S Potash Canada in Saskatoon

When

On Thursday, November 8th the Saskatchewan Division of the MS Society of Canada will host the first ever Women Against Multiple Sclerosis (WAMS) event in Saskatoon. Established over a decade ago, WAMS luncheons have successfully raised millions of dollars in Toronto, Montreal Vancouver and Halifax. Now, for the first time in our province, the WAMS Gala Luncheon, presented by K+S Potash Canada , will offer an opportunity to be inspired, network, build awareness and raise funds to help end a disease that disproportionately affects women.

The WAMS Luncheon in Saskatoon will feature a VIP Champagne

Reception at 11 am, sponsored by EMD Serono, a three-course meal, a

silent auction, and a cozy chat with JUNO winner Jess

Moskaluke . A multiple Canadian Country Music

Association Award winner, Jess recently won the 2018 “Ford Album of

the Year” for Past the Past. Jess grew up in Langenburg, Saskatchewan understanding the impact of multiple sclerosis, having lost her father to the disease when she was just 16. Today she is proud to help champion the fight to end MS.

The Gala will also celebrate the achievements of health and wellness innovator, Jana Danielson as the first WAMS Honouree in Saskatchewan. Jana enriches the lives of others in her state-of-the-art facility housing Lead Pilates and Lead Integrated Health Therapies . Her original business model offers movement classes, in addition to chiropractic, naturopathic, reflexology, physiotherapy and massage therapy services. In 2016, Jana partnered with Dr. Charity Evans of the University of Saskatchewan to study the benefits of Pilates for people living with multiple sclerosis. The study demonstrated significant results and sparked the launch of the new Pilates MS Move class.

Tickets for this exciting and entertaining event are $100 each or $125 for VIP tickets. For more information about WAMS Saskatoon, or to purchase tickets, go to http://wamsgalask.ca.
