Keynote Speaker

Dr. Carolina Rush MD, FRCPC Neurology
Dr. Rush holds an academic appointment at the University of Ottawa and the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute. She is a graduate of Argentina’s Universidad Nacional De Tucuman where she completed her Internal Medicine and Neurology Residency.

Carolina’s fascination with MS began in her native Argentina where MS is a rare disease (1 in 10,000). She moved to Canada in 2005 and completed a Fellowship awarded by the Canadian Network of MS Clinics and training in Multiple Sclerosis. Initially, she worked at the London MS Clinic, and we are now fortunate to have her at the MS Clinic in Ottawa where she has been involved as a clinical investigator in many therapeutic trials.

A published writer and lecturer, her main areas of interest include symptomatic treatment in MS and the management of aggressive MS. She is also involved in the Bone Marrow Transplantation Program for neuro-immune disorders.
