Fundraise on the go! Manage your fundraising for the MS Walk from wherever you are.
Use the MS Walk app to:
- Check the fundraising progress of you and your team.
- Ask your network of family, friends and colleagues to support your fundraising efforts via email, Facebook or Twitter.
- Invite others to join your team.
- Thank those supporters who have helped you to reach your fundraising goals.
- Send messages to your team members.
- Keep current on news about your event from the MS Society of Canada.
Who can use this app?
The MS Walk app is only available for registered participants of the 2015 MS Walk.
If you have not registered, visit mswalks.ca to find a walk near you or call 1-800-268-7582 for assistance.
Login to the app
Sign in using your 2015 MS Walk username and password.
Tap Forgot login? if you do not remember your login credentials.

How to disable app notifications from within the MS Walk
Open the app menu.
Turn the option for Push Notifications to off.
How to turn MS Walk push notifications on or off from
your mobile phone?
Open your phone's Settings.
Tap Notifications Center > MS Walk.
Set your Alert Style to Banners or Alerts.
Slide Allow Notifications to green.
Slide Show on Lock Screen to green.
To adjust your push notifications or turn them off, slide Allow Notifications to off.
How to ask for donations
Tap on $ Ask for donations.
Select a service from the list that appears.
Tap More to reveal additional share options.
How to send a message to your team from the MS Walk
Open the app menu.
Tap on Messages.
Type your message in the text box at the bottom.
Tap the send icon.
If the MS Walk app unexpectedly quits, stops responding,
or won’t open.
Try these steps if you have an unresponsive app:
Restart your phone
Always try restarting your phone if you're having trouble with the MS Walk app.
Uninstall and reinstall
If restarting your phone does not help, try deleting and reinstalling the app:
From the Home screen, tap and hold the MS Walk app icon until it
Tap x on the app to delete it.
Go to the App Store, reinstall the app and then log in with your username and password.
Check Internet connection
If the last two steps do not help, try using the MS Walk app on Wi-Fi and on your mobile data connection to see if the problem is because of a weak Wi-Fi or mobile data connection.
