2018 BC & Yukon Division Volunteer Engagement Awards - Call for Nominations

We are excited to announce the 2018 MS Society of Canada BC & Yukon Division Volunteer Engagement Awards. Over the last year, our team has been hard at work updating and redesigning our volunteer awards program. We are excited to recognise the immense support of our volunteers and we are asking for your help. Do you know someone who goes above and beyond in their role as an outstanding MS Society volunteer?

Please put forward your nominations for the BCY volunteer engagement awards by completing our new on-line nomination form. Please note the deadline for submitting nominations is Monday, October 1, 2018. Your nominations are a significant part of the volunteer awards process. The MS Society of Canada is an organization founded by volunteers and continually fueled by the initiative and dedication of hundreds of volunteers across the province. Our volunteers are our most important resource and they are crucial to the success of our organization.

MS Caregiver/Carepartner Award

Recognizes an unpaid caregiver/carepartner who has provided exceptional care and support to an individual living with MS while furthering the work of the MS Society. This individual has instilled hope and demonstrates commitment to ensuring quality of life for a person living with MS.

MS Champion Award

Recognizes an individual living with MS who has made a significant impact by volunteering. This individual will have inspired others, made a difference and helped to further the important work of the MS Society.

Volunteer Leadership in Programs & Services Award

Recognizes a MS Society leadership volunteer or group who has had a significant impact on programs and services for individuals affected by MS.

Volunteer Leadership in Fund Development Award

Recognizes a MS Society leadership volunteer or group who have made a significant impact on fund development activities. This individual or group have demonstrated notable skills in coordinating and motivating others and exceptional leadership in building partnerships, inspiring donors and helping grow events.

Volunteer Leadership in Advocacy and Awareness

Recognizes a MS Society volunteer or group who has significantly increased the public awareness reach of the MS Society and/or advanced government relations and advocacy in the interest of people impacted by MS.

Volunteer Leadership in Community Engagement

Recognizes a volunteer or group who have exhibited exemplary leadership and made a significant contribution to the MS Society by fostering community capacity and helping the MS Society in furthering its mission.
