The MS Society of Canada’s Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Engagement Sessions
As part of the MS Society of Canada’s commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI), we are looking to collect feedback from members of the MS Society and the MS community to inform the development of an organizational equity, diversity and inclusion statement.
The purpose of the statement is to help ground the organization by providing an actionable framework for how we deliver on this commitment in all aspects of our work.
Feedback will be collected through a series of engagement sessions open to anyone who would like to attend. Each session will take place on the Zoom platform and will be approximately 1hr and 45mins. Separate sessions will be held in English and French. To ensure these sessions remain focused and that time is allowed for all feedback, there is a registration limit of 45 people per session. Registration is based on a first come, first served basis.
Once the sessions are complete, the MS Society’s EDI Steering Committee* will work together with members of the organization to co-create, write, and approve the statement. This final statement will then be shared with the MS community and will provide the basis for our work as we move forward.
