The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) is the largest mental health and addiction organization in Canada and is a teaching hospital fully affiliated with the University of Toronto. Through specialized treatment, community services, research, education and prevention, CAMH works to improve the quality of life for people who are struggling with mental illness or addiction and to support their families and friends. CAMH has focused on a seamless integration of addiction and mental health services in a functional and flexible environment.

CAMH has central facilities located in Toronto, Ontario and 10 community locations throughout the province. CAMH is fully affiliated with the University of Toronto and is a Pan American Health Organization and World Health Organization Collaborating Centre. CAMH was formed in 1998 as a result of the merger of the Clarke Institute of Psychiatry, the Addiction Research Foundation, the Donwood Institute and Queen Street Mental Health Centre.
