Complementary and Alternative Medicine
The Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada is an independent, voluntary health agency and does not approve, endorse or recommend any specific product or therapy but provides information to assist individuals in making their own decisions. For specific advice, consult your doctor and/or specialist.
While there are many claims as to the benefits of complementary and alternative medicine, few have been studied in detail in people with MS. Always let your physician(s) know what additional treatments you are taking. Caution should be used in taking any treatment claiming to be an immune system booster.
