Rehabilitation Centres/Services

  • Health and Wellness

Rehabilitation Centres:

  • Assess and set up of treatment plans
  • Require a doctor's referral
  • Often offer services including: physiotherapy, occupational therapy, social work, assistive devices assessments etc.
  • May be partially funded by OHIP and/or employer disability insurance, private insurance, etc.

Toronto Rehab Institute Multiple Sclerosis Rehabilitation Outpatient Services

In addition to individual treatment plans, two health promotion programs include:

Life with MS Group - facilitated group sessions that support problem-solving and learning from each other (10 educational sessions).

Keeping Fit with MS - a 12-week session of aerobics, strength and stretching, plus balance activities that runs twice weekly. Phone: 416-597-3422
