College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan

  • Health and Wellness

The College functions under the Medical Profession Act enacted by the Legislature of the Province. The act requires all physicians who practice in Saskatchewan to be licensed by the College. In order to maintain that license, each physician must adhere to standards of practice and ethical conduct established by the College. On occasion, patients may be dissatisfied with the service, attitude, or conduct of their doctor. When the patient is unsatisfied and feels addressing the issue with the physician has not resolved the situation, the individual might file a complaint with the College.
