Victim Services Program

  • Advocacy & Legal

The Victim Services program works closely with police and assist victims in the immediate aftermath of a crime or tragedy and throughout the criminal justice process.

Services offered, provided by staff and volunteers, include:

  • crisis intervention
  • information
  • support
  • referrals to other specialized programs and services

Please note that some police jurisdictions do not have access to Police-based Victim Services Programs. If this is the case in your area, you may wish to refer to a nearby program to see if they are able to assist you. Police-based Victim Services are currently being expanded province-wide, and new police jurisdictions will be added to this list as services come available.
