Scholarships - Saskatchewan

    Marlene Forden Memorial Scholarship

    With the Marlene Forden Memorial Scholarship, $1,000 in funds are available each year and are awarded to individuals attending post-secondary education in Saskatchewan. Minimum $500 is awarded per person.

    Congratulations to the 2018 Marlene Forden Memorial Scholarship Winners

    Jessica Collins ($500 scholarship)

    Jessica Collins from Saskatoon was diagnosed at age 14 with multiple sclerosis. She graduated grade 12 this year with a three-year average of 91%. Jessica is attending the University of Saskatchewan, planning on earning a degree in pharmacy. This scholarship will contribute to Jessica’s education costs such as fees and books.





    Deana Syrenne ($500 scholarship)

    Deana Syrenne’s mother was diagnosed with MS when Deana was just six years old. Deana is originally from Spalding, Saskatchewan and is now in her second year of nursing at the University of Saskatchewan in Saskatoon. Her academic goal is to obtain a Bachelor of Nursing Degree. Deana says, “I will not be able to work during the school year, so this scholarship will help me attain my dream of being a nurse.”
