Peel-Dufferin Wellness Programs

    MS Yoga
    Yoga, a program of gentle stretching, poses, breathing exercises, and meditation, has been touted for
    relieving a wide variety of illnesses and disorders and is a great tool for stress reduction. In addition, practitioners firmly attest that yoga reduces muscle tension, nervousness, depression, anxiety, and emotional stress - all common occurrences with MS.

    Mississauga

    Yoga Therapeutic class blends gentle seated and standing yoga postures with breath work and guided meditation. Focus is on healing and putting the body back into balance

    Brampton

    Swimming Programs:

    Hydro Therapy 'swim programs' are highly beneficial for anyone who has completed their hospital rehabilitation or referred by a health care professional and is an excellent way to stay fit and active. Swim programs are highly beneficial for those living with MS and is designed to improve mobility, flexibility, balance, co-ordination and endurance

    Mississauga: Moving Waters for Multiple Sclerosis program is held in the main pool in water of 84-85 degrees, which is reported to be a more comfortable temperature for those with multiple sclerosis.

    Brampton
