Peel-Dufferin Chapter Support Groups

  • Peer Support

The Peel-Dufferin Chapter offers a variety of self-help groups meeting in various locations throughout Peel Region and Dufferin County. Staff are also available to assist in forming new groups.

The Self-help code of conduct and the self-help confidentiality statement, are required reading when participating in MS Society, self-help groups.

Mississauga Peer Support

Men and women with MS get together for Information, support, encouragement and hope.

Meets first Thursday of each month
10:00am-Noon in Mississauga.
Guys with MS Men with MS get together for support, encouragement and information. Guys should expect to find valuable supports and practical information. Meets last Tuesday of each month
7:00-9:00pm in Mississauga
Centrally located restaurant (Hurontario/Eglinton)
Care Partners Group This group is exclusively for care partners
(spouse, significant other, parents, siblings, children, friends), to discuss concerns, share information, and find solutions.
Meets the second Monday of the month
7:00-9:00pm in Mississauga
Brampton Peer Support 

Men and women with MS get together for Information, support, encouragement.

Meets alternate Monday evenings
7:00-9:00pm
Dufferin Peer Support This support group is for men and women with MS get together for support, encouragement and information. Meets the third Wednesday of the month
7:00-9:00pm.
