MS Functional Fitness For Life

Tuesdays: 5:00pm-6:00pm

2018 Sessions: October 23-November 27

Where: Cowichan Valley CBI #300- 435 Trunk Rd

Cost: $30.00 for 6 weeks (classes subsidized by the MS Society)

Class size: Min of 4 and max of 8

Movement is fundamental and the foundation for a healthy body and mind; MS does not need to impede your success in this regard. While traditional recreational environments often do not provide the support and individualization you need, we are opening up our doors to bring you our experience and passion. Through varied weekly exercise sessions (mobility, yoga, stretching etc), in a small group of peers, we will help you experience the joy of movement and improve your holistic health.

Please note a signed waiver is required before beginning the class.

Wellness means bringing together the mind, body and spirit. Discover the power of meditation to decrease stress, think more clearly in the face of problems, and respond more openly in life. Ideal for everyone, this class is a seated exercise focused on breathing, relaxation, and spirit.

This class is customized based on what each student requests to work on that given day. Each class is unique, adaptable, and tailored to the needs of the students while maintaining breath and body awareness as a focus. (Please note: access to studio is limited by two stairs)

Aung Medical Qi Gong

Learn the fundamentals of Aung Medical Qi Gong. Become aware of the circulation of Qi (vital energy) throughout your whole being- body, mind, and spirit. This introductory class focuses on breathing patterns. We'll also practice some gentle movement exercises.

Sidney Gentle Seated Exercise
