Self-Help Network - ATL

  • Peer Support
  • Social Gatherings & Recreation

A self-help group provides a forum for interpersonal interaction to share experiences and receive mutual support and understanding.

Below is a list of Self-Help Groups. Anyone with MS, (relapsing remitting, primary progressive, secondary progressive), is welcome to attend any of the groups. All of the groups provide an informal setting of adult persons confirmed as having MS or waiting for a possible diagnosis of MS. Partners/spouses, family, friends and caregivers are invited to attend the meetings to provide support, and to receive support themselves. Persons who are newly diagnosed will find the knowledge of those who are experienced about MS very helpful when navigating new corridors. All of the leaders are happy to help in any way that they can. Telephone contacts and 1:1 Peer Support volunteers are available for support to those who can’t attend the meeting.

To learn more about our support groups, or to be connected with a 1:1 Peer Support volunteer, please contact the MS Knowledge Network at 1-844-859-6789.
