1. HandyDART

HandyDART provides door-to-door ride share service for passengers with physical or cognitive disabilities who are unable to use conventional public transit without assistance. Using specially equipped vehicles, drivers come to your home, help you on the vehicle, and get you to the door of your destination safely. Individuals need to be signed up with HandyDART to use the services. Trip reservations can be made up to 14 days in advance, and should be made at least one day in advance.

HandyDART offers two types of service:

  • Subscription trips - Trips that are regularly taken daily or weekly.
  • Casual trips - Trips taken on a one-time basis.

HandyDART is provided by both Translink (in Greater Vancouver) and BC Transit (elsewhere in BC). To gain more information or to sign up for HandyDART, refer to the appropriate contact below. Application forms can be found online.
