HandyPASS & TaxiSaver Programs, BC Transit

  • Travel and Transportation

If you live in the BC Transit service area (communities outside of Greater Vancouver) and you are a person with a permanent physical, sensory, or cognition disability you may be eligible for a HandyPASS, a picture identification card that allows you to have your attendant travel for free when travelling with you on regular buses.

To apply for a HandyPASS, complete the relevant section on the BC Transit HandDART application (see L-14) and send by mail or drop it off at the appropriate HandyDART office.

When you use Taxi Saver coupons, which save you on the cost of a taxi, you must also show your HandyPASS to the taxi driver.

To find your regional HandyDART office information, use the below:

Fax: 250-479-5660 (HandyDART)
