If you have suffered discrimination when buying products/services or in the workplace, you may be able to file a complaint with the CHRC, which administers the Canadian Human Rights Act and is responsible for ensuring compliance with the Employment Equity Act. Both laws ensure that the principles of equal opportunity and non-discrimination are followed. The CHRC provides information on what you need to know before filing a complaint, how to file a complaint, and what to expect.
