1. Fair PharmaCare

The Fair PharmaCare plan provides financial assistance to BC families for eligible prescription drugs and designated medical supplies prescribed by a registered medical professional. Assistance levels are determined according to net household income. Register online 24/7.

2. Special Authority Requests for MS Drug Therapies

PharmaCare can grant Special Authority to certain MS drug therapies, which gives full benefit status to MS drugs that would otherwise not be fully covered. Special Authorities are granted for a specific drug for an individual patient. The link below will direct you to a list of MS drug therapies that may be granted Special Authority and their respective Request Forms.

Each drug class has different eligibility criteria, but both classes require a prescription for a drug therapy from a neurologist at a designated MS Clinic. Consult the respective Special Authority forms to see if you qualify, or contact PharmaCare.
