1. Home Owner Grants

British Columbia residents who are homeowners, with registered long-term interests in the residential property that they occupy as their principal residence, may apply for this grant to reduce amount of property tax owed each year.

2. Home Owner Grant for People with Disabilities

If you are a person with a disability or you live with someone with a disability and you or your spouse receive provincial disability assistance, you may qualify for an additional $570 in addition to the basic grant described above.

3. The Property Tax Deferment Program

Property Tax Deferment is one of three property tax assistance programs offered in BC. Property Tax Deferment is a low-interest loan program that assists qualifying homeowners in BC to pay the annual property taxes on their homes.
